Dude, look past all this crap and listen. I have both....since I got the Raptor I have rode the 400ex once and I'll probably never get back on it again. If you have a stock 400ex you are going to want more power but the same hadling. Put $2000 toward the Raptor or start grinding on your 400ex and put the $2000 in it.

 

If you do sell the 400ex, you will love the Raptor. I liked my 400ex, but the Raptor is better and faster in every caterogory. If you get the Raptor, you will see I am posting the truth. You may have to wait a while on the Raptor though.

 

Blake, Sir,with all do respect the 400ex is not the best quad but maybe the best overall. Been riding and racing 34 years.

Not to offend anyone here, but....

You're gonna take advice from guys that have had their bikes 4 or 5 days max, as the gospel?? H3ll, it would take me a very long time to put it in enough situations & be comfortable enough on it to be confident about recommending it to someone else. Let their excitement about their new rides fade a little before making an impulse decision.

Give it time, maybe even ride one, make an educated decision, you'll thank yourself later (whichever way you decide)...
