Default 05 decompression plug

I have read manny of threads about the decomp plug comming out. Is this a problem that has happened on the 05 models as well?

I guess you are talking about the raptor. It's not usually the case of it coming out, it is usually that it is installed incorrectly after the cam is upgraded. Also, not trying to be a jerk, but it's a pin, not a plug.

I must have read the thread wrong but if you would shed some light on this question but I could have sworn that there was some oil leaking out of engines and for some reason i thought it was a decomp plug and this is for a yfz 450 2005

I'm not too sure of the problems with the cams on the 450's. I think I read a thread once on something leaking, but I have a raptor so I don't really pay much attention to the 450 problems. Maybe someone else has more info on this to give you, or you can use the search option and type in search for decompression pin in the body of the thread and it will come up with more than you can read. Hope it helps.

On the 05 YFZ's they replaced the rubber/plastic plug with a metal one pressed in. It's a problem they fixed with the 05 models.
