trying to pull the spark arrester out of a 2005 wolverine and i'm about to tear the darn muffler up doing it.what is the trick to getting it out?

 

If its anything like the sport quad exhausts you just remove the bolt from underneath the end of the exhaust cap and then give it a yank I believe. Personally I dont think it's worth the hassle, especially if you need to tweak the jetting. Power gains are minimal on most bikes for this kind of mod.

But hey, if its something you want to do go for it. I would suggest looking at a parts diagram and look for an exploded diagram of the exhaust to give you an idea of what needs to be done.
