Guys where I can buy a complete engine for my raptor 660r, I searched the web and asked too many but no luck.

 

Sometimes you can find one on E-Bay. Have you tried there? Otherwise, I don't know if you can just buy an engine. Give Yamaha a call if you haven't already ad just see what they say. It can't hurt to try.

Why do you need an engine anyways? Just curious.

Actually transmission failure destroyed my crank, rod, and cracked my crankcase.
A total damage to the engine, I thought buying a new engine is better and cheaper than rebuilding this total damage, I called Yamaha but they said they wont sell a complete engine and I called alba even they said the same (Yamaha wont sell a complete engine) send your old engine and we can rebuild it.

I searched in ebay too but couldn’t find, this is really killing me.

I don’t know where to get a complete engine and wondering why Yamaha wont see complete engines

 

Don't tell my boss, but I looked around on ebay today at work and found 2 different raptor motors. Here's one. You may want to check him out because he has a good bit of negative feedback. I can't find the other one, but if I find it, I'll post

I was by Bob Craycrafts shop today, he has a brand new never run 2005 raptor motor sitting on the shelf. I have no idea what he wants for it. I wish yamaha made a crate motor for the raptor.

 

When I wanted a Craycraft 730, I talked to Bob about building a brand new motor by ordering all the parts from Yamaha. It would have cost almost $5K to order a new motor in pieces!! I found an 02 with a locked up tranny for $900 and he used that as a donor motor for my 730.

East Coast ATV sometimes has Raptor motors. Last time I checked, they wanted $1500 for an 01 and $2000 for an 02+.
