Hi, I own a 2001 yamaha wolverine with a FMF megamax pipe and a K&N airfilter. My friend has a brand new 04 Blaster. And me and him are guna drag race. Which one is faster. The blaster is stock so I think I might have a lengh on him. WHats your thoughts?

 

You might, might be able to beat him... Its going to be super close imo. Its going to come down to rider. If your more experienced i think you'll win

 

the blaster is faster you may have the top end though

 

IMO I think that he would win because I have a heavy skid plate. fender extensions. racks. running boards. and a pipe and a air filter. MY QUAD IS ALOT HEAVIER THEN HIS. So he might win.

 

By the way, its his first quad and he cant drive clutch to good, and my wolvy is my 4th quad so i am pretty experienced.

 

Race him in the mud, you'll win. j/k, he's probably gonna pull on you, thats gonna be a close one, go out and race and post what happens

i think the blaster will win. cause ur all time 4 wheel drive so you loose power from that and its ALOT heaver. unless the blaster rider cant shift or is 400 lb he will win. imo

He just got his quad today and he cant ride so I have to teach him how to ride. I would think that if I had 2wd it would be slower becaue the 2 back wheels are pushing all the weight of the quad and if all 4 wheels spin it would pull and push the quad and all its weight. But im not to sure if this is true. He is about 20 pounds heavier then me so there nota a big difference.
