Warrior Top End Going?
#1
I know more about two strokes than four. And I'm used to the bike just dieing and the piston being seized. Can someone tell me what's going on with my bike? '01 Warrior and it's lacking in power in top RPM's, but still has plenty of power in the lower RPM's. Idles perfect. When I rev it high (not over revving it), just like the top of the gear before shifting, the power dies down and there's a vibration in the motor. Bike is still somewhat fast, I can still blow by my friend's quads that I could before, just have to shift earlier. I rode it like this for about 4 hours today and it's still the same. So is this normal for a top end going on a four stroke? I'm used to bam, just dieing on my two strokes. Thanks for the help in advance. Also, does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to have a shop bore the cylinder and install a 400 kit? I'll be ordering the kit myself, so I just need a labor quote. Does anyone recommend any kits? Alba? Thanks in advance for your imputs.

Does anyone know? Has anyone used the JE Cam, Spring and Piston kit Alba sells? It's sounds good but I wouldn't buy unless someone has used it. And how about Team Albas Race exhaust for the Warrior, does that include the head pipe? Any good? If so, it seems a much better deal than Big Gun or DMC. If anyone knows any of this, I'd appreciate the help!

I use Powroll stuff (JE pistons and other things) and have had no problems - www.powroll.com The powroll people have been in the game since the early 1960s ive always liked their stuff; they have a pretty mean 430 kit I have been eyeing...
