Kodiak, strong smell of rear end grease after riding.
#1
Was out today, pulling the kids around on a toboggin, they had a blast, but they kept saying something was smelling funny.
I didnt notice it, til I came to a stop, and the wind was blowing the right way, and I got a wiff. It did this a bit last summer, but for some reason, it was real strong today.
Did a line fall off? Does cold make it worse?
Anyone else have this issue?

Pop your seat off and see if the lube has come out the diff vent hose near the carb. I think the fluid gets pumped out when its cold. My Wolverine does this also. Just run the level in your rear diff a little lower. Its no big deal.

Ive been riding for 11 years and have hit most the hot spots in Mn like Nemadji, Spyder Lake, Gilbert. Also do NW Wisconsin. Used to do lots of riding around home, but, as you know, all the development has put an end to that. How about you?

Yep, I go to them and black river, and dambury, and red top. If I have time, I go up north, past duluth, and ride in the superior national forest.
I was thinking of getting out on crooked lake, but this weekend looks to be too cold.
I heard that theres some ditch riding, up by rice, nw of st cloud, but havent been there yet. I guess Im looking for places which are closer to do some riding. but Havent had much luck.
