Helmet Recommendation
I am going out to California next weekend and am going to visit a large shop out there that I know of. If I can not find a reasonable deal there I will just do the try on and fit then order online. I know what you mean about just because it is DOT approved does not mean it is worth a sh#t. I have seen helmets split during accidents. My wife just recently had a student fly off his ATV and strike a tree and kiled. He hit the tree head on and the helmet split in two. Also thanks for the sites. Made it easy to limit my choises.

Why go through the trouble of not liking how the helmet fits (if it does) or feels on your head? Atleast try it on somewhere then order it - to order online then discover you dont like how it fits or that it doesnt and send it back is a pain in the ***.

I got to agree with the guy's that tell you to try them on.
I got a new helmet on friday and I tried on everything!!
No bull, I went from a Med size from one manufacturer, to a XL in most of the others.
That is a huge difference!!
I finally went for a Fox Tracer in matt navy, looks really cool and is DOT SNELL approved.

I am going out to Long Beach. I am going to a discount place out in San Bernadino. I am not sure of the name but my buddy buys all his motorcycle parts out there. They also do cataloge sales.

hey tracker....hmm if its in san bernardino im sure its chaparral..they have alot of stuff there..pricing is also good for parts especially for tires. theres another place in covina called berts...they r also big and have alot of stuff but very overpriced. enjoy your trip out here.
