Banshee is horrible for MX.. i rode one this weekend.. damnnnnn i love that powerband but a banshee is what you want to keep all the wheels on the ground where as a YFZ i feel i can do better wheelies.. MX jumps . and so on

What type of riding do you do? If you do some kind of MX racing the YFZ s the way to go, trails are also good when you are sitting on the YFZ, I just found that out today.

banshee, yeah they are horrible for MX, unless you build them yourself, but they'll haul a** in a drag or duning, the problem with banshees is that they need a place to open up, with the top end they got you need an open area such as the dunes, that's why the banshee is the king of the sand.
i'd go with banshee either way, but i'm a 2 stroke rider and i can't go to a 4 stroke, they are just too boring for me, i need the power of a 2 stroke to keep me happy.

I think if you are building something for a drag race, the raptor would be the greatest thing to use. You can do so much with a 660 four stroke. Boring, turbo charger... I think after everything you could possibly do to both bikes, you would be better with the raptor. But as far as general racing, I think the yfz would DEF be my pick over a shee... Plus, I hate working on two strokes...

I've got both, and I say the YFZ is better all the way around.
In fact, I've owned a total of 5 Banshees over the past 5 years, and the YFZ is my top choice.

The Banshee can be made to go extremely fast if you want to put the money into it, but stock for stock, and mod for mod (bolt on), the YFZ is faster, lighter, and produces more power, and that is the truth.
