Um dude you kinda need that return spring, arn't you going to replace it?

 

yes, im going to replace it, but is anything going to be broken etc if i dont replace it right away? because i still want to ride before it gets here

i think thats it, i havent gone riding yet, but i dont think its going to harm anything if i do

It's the retaining clip that holds the gear on the kickstart shaft, I would replace it for sure it's obvousily there for a reason.

 

well if its cold and you went through water, it could be frozen,it happened on my raptor and i had to pull it up with my hand when i was riding

 

thanks for reading the entire post... and btw oil doesnt freeze... it just gets really REALLY thick

 

ahh, nvm didnt re-read ur post, it COULD be that, but it isnt for 2 reasons: 1) i know that i need the retaining clip and 2) i live in tucson AZ and it was 70 today. And Shav0, i wasnt wondering if i needed it, i was wondering if it was going to ruin anything if i rode without it, and i thought to myself, and i dont see how it could've so i didnt bother. but i am getting that clip on monday
