That all depends on how bad I beat the crap out of it (it is a 4 stroke) & how often you ride - If you don’t beat the living crap out of it expect 3 - 4 years and if you do expect about every 100 hours lol.

Do what I did - Buy the oil filter enclosure element assembly for a 1995 Big Bear. Then you can either run rubber oil line or steel braided hose to any oil cooler that will fit really. I got a Hayden #401 oil cooler radiator from autozone for 28 bucks. I would not put this on a real close to stock setup - you can under cool your oil also...

the radiator goes under the nose and makes the front plastic fake intake fins functional & the element assembly bolts right over where your oil filter case cap is.

Nylon zip ties will hold the cooler perfectly depending on which cooler you install. Permacool makes one that fits between the frontmost plastic brackets and the headlights. I chose that one so it would be tilted more vertically for the air current and would still fit nicely under the hood. The permacool costs a little more but it's very convenient, and does one hell of a cooling job for the size of it. As soon as you install a pipe/air kit it's a good idea to install it.

I guess I know where to find the crazy people if I ever want to test my top speed. Ive had to many times I thought I was going to die to ring any bike out past 70 anymore. Maybe im just getting to old. If you really want to go fast though, you shouldnt be looking at spending a few grand modifying a warrior engine...... You need a banshee. Spend a few grand on a banshee motor and it will make you **** yourself till you get used to it.
