Default riding gear help

My gf, just bought me all the gear I wanted for christmas, Skin suit, and gloves, but she got me some O'NEAL element boots, and they are stiffer than hell, cant get em under my gear shifter... anybody know any tricks on how to loosen these suckers up, besides walking around in them all day? I heard soaking them in water would work, just wanted ur guys opinions before I waste my time. thanks..

If you got MX boots there not supposed to give much. Do you have this problem on your RM? I know on a bike I am comfortable with mine, but on a quad it does feel stiff. I know it takes some time to get used to as well. But if they are MX style I think you are going to have no option but to get used to them.
