Man for some reason that picture does not look the same as my quad does under there, well thanks for the photo

 

I finally got it working, thanks to everyone that gave advice.

I ended up hooking up to the white wire that is paired with red wire coming up from the stator. And then I ran the shorter wire from the kill switch to a ground.
