No they make 2 kits, one with a foam filter and one with a k&n, i have the k&n one on my raptor 350 and its so much better then the stock replacement filters i was screwing around with before it. Check sweetquads.com out for the kits and other mods you can do, i suggest a pipe, filter and jets, you will notice that improvement, after that you can go all crazy with a hi comp piston, headwork and a cam. Dropping the front sproket 1 tooth will help it accelerate quicker but you loose some of your top speed. Those sprokets are around 10 bucks from rockymountainatv.com.
Hey Veloci I was wondering how much of a gain when you put a new airfilter and re-jet it? Is it just throttle response or do you get speed too?

Throttle response is improved, and acceleration is vastly improved, the stock setup is horrible, with a filter and no lid, a pipe, and the jetting right, its a completely different bike. My bike will just wheelie in 2nd gear by hitting the gas, no need to pop the clutch.

Thats another argument right there, i have the K&n version, and it comes with a prefilter/outerwear. Most people will say go with a foam for trailriding and if you are ever going to see mud/water. Ive had no problems with my k&n to date.
