When you had the same trouble, would it do it when it was cold too? My wolverine runs like a scolded dog the first 10 or 15 minutes then when it gets hot it just doesn't open up and have the power that it first did.

Default Wolverine Trouble

My symptoms are when I give it anything over say 3/8ths throttle it will lose power drastically. It seems to get worse after I do a donut or jump something. I often will have to pull the coke out and run it a while then it will just "clear up". The carb has been problematic since I bought it new in 03. My Wolverine is very cold natured when you first start it up. I usually have to run it with the choke on for a few minutes to make sure it will idle.
