Fuel issue on Grizzly 660
A buddy of mine had this problem with his new Grizzly. He took it to the dealer. They had to clean out the carb. They told him that when ATVs are manufactured, they put grease ( Kosmolene) in the carb to prevent rust while it is in the crate. They said sometimes they don't get it all cleaned out ( it makes the float stick) when they prep the machine for the customer. I don't know, that's what they told him, anyway. One time this happened to a Rancher I was riding with too. A guy told us to do this:
Start it up
Turn the gas off but let the engine run.
let the engine run until it runs out of gas and shuts off
while the engine is running tap on the carb. bowl with the handle of a screwdriver
turn the gas back on
it quit leaking for us
try it, I hope it works for you
