Will a stock 05 Wolverine pull 26' Mudlites?
#1
I just bought a 2005 Wolverine and I would like to put some aftermarket tires and rims on it. I really like the ITP mudlites, and I wanted to get those in sizes 26x9x12 and 26x10x12 on the ITP C series type 4 aluminum rims. If anyone knows if these tires would be to big for this machine or think these tires would bog it out, please advise. Thanks for the help.

I agree. The wolverine is already geared high and a bit weak on low end power. I think you would be disappointed with 26" tires.
Now on the subject of 350cc being enough for 26" tires:
I'd say there are a few 350cc bikes that would handle 26" tires with ease. Example. The old 350 big bear or the old foreman 350. Heck, I bet the bayou 300 would turn them fine as well.

Yeah, Rocky Mountain has a Mudlight "XL" listed in 25" sizes. I'm getting these over the 25" Bearclaws I WAS going to get. Lighter, and with deeper tread. Should work out well.
Here's a link:
Mudlight 25-10-12 "XL"
I think these new tires are going to bridge the gap in tread-depth/weight/size for a lot of ATV owners. I think they're going to sell a lot of these. I know 4 of them will have a new home soon.
Good Luck
