Default Will a stock 05 Wolverine pull 26' Mudlites?

I just bought a 2005 Wolverine and I would like to put some aftermarket tires and rims on it. I really like the ITP mudlites, and I wanted to get those in sizes 26x9x12 and 26x10x12 on the ITP C series type 4 aluminum rims. If anyone knows if these tires would be to big for this machine or think these tires would bog it out, please advise. Thanks for the help.

I'd say 25"s are your best bet, I'm planning on getting 25" mudlites for my 04 wolverine, from my research most say the 350cc doesn't like to spin more than 25".

i've seen 26-10-12 on a wolverine at miller yamaha shop so i'm guessing it can handle them with no problem

I agree. The wolverine is already geared high and a bit weak on low end power. I think you would be disappointed with 26" tires.

Now on the subject of 350cc being enough for 26" tires:

I'd say there are a few 350cc bikes that would handle 26" tires with ease. Example. The old 350 big bear or the old foreman 350. Heck, I bet the bayou 300 would turn them fine as well.

I just read on here somewhere that Mudlite just came out with 25" deep lug tires.

Yeah, Rocky Mountain has a Mudlight "XL" listed in 25" sizes. I'm getting these over the 25" Bearclaws I WAS going to get. Lighter, and with deeper tread. Should work out well.
Here's a link:

Mudlight 25-10-12 "XL"

I think these new tires are going to bridge the gap in tread-depth/weight/size for a lot of ATV owners. I think they're going to sell a lot of these. I know 4 of them will have a new home soon.
Good Luck

yeah me too at Miller's Yamaha, i'm sure you know where this is considering that for other makes such as Honda,Suzuki and Kawasaki you have to travel a little, damn Miller's put everyone out of business, i think it was the all black Wolverine with the 26" ITP 589's on them with C series rims, and a girl that used to come out to where i live and go riding, you might even know her, being's that you are from Connellsville, well anyhow she had the same thing and her Wolvy would pull those 26" 589's with no problem, and you could climb hills in reverse, ride reverse wheelies cause it's a all time 4wd(dangerous though) and still didn't have no problems of spinning them. Just a thought though, and hey KawasakiRules when i get my quad fixed we need to go riding sometime, i'm only 4 miles from the Fairgrounds lol.

later on
