LISTEN i have a blaster and i am 135is and 6foot and im am to big for it and will be getting a raptor probly within a year or two. I would get it right not but i have no money. and being the size you said you were you would need to put a lot of money to make it longer and wider then would have to put another ton of cash into it to make it a lot faster than its slow stock shape. trust me on this one. {i own one}

 

Where in Jersey do you life kyle12345? Im in MIddletown area!! I say go for a Raptor or YFZ450.

My 13 year old neighbor started on dirtbikes and he knows to clutch n shift so he was riding my raptor around and boy was he good on it!!!!

If you ride it right it wont be too big for you .. if your 150 LBS im 160 and i got my raptor about a year n a half ago

No person under the age of fourteen (14) years shall operate or be permitted to operate any all-terrain vehicle on public lands or upon a pubic highway.

 

ok i'm going to try to clear something up also, they have to recommend to you anything over 90cc is for 16+years old, but that DOES NOT keep you from buying what you want, when i was 14 i walked in to the Yamaha shop with my parents and they was like what are you looking for and i said i want that Banshee over there with the Skin Graphics Kit on it and he was like not a problem.....he didn't even tell me that you have to be 16, but i ended up not getting it, i already had something to ride that had more than enough power so i wasn't too worried that i didn't get the Banshee, but when i turned 15 i went up and got a Grizzly 600 and again the same dealership DIDN'T ask me if i was 16, so the 90cc and up for 16+year olds really doesn't have an effect, it's just a warning that no one under 16 should operate this atv

now where these laws do have an effect is when you're a member of AMA and are racing, anything over 90cc's must be ridden by someone at least 16

i had no problems wit banshees when i was 13 n a rapy is even ezier

 

Raporboy4life i live in voorhees NJ and every dealership i go to they say nope sorry cant sell it to u cuz ur not 16 years old and my dad asked them and they said because too many pple r gettin hurt on quads that r too big for them and the dealership is gettin sued and they also said cuz its the law

 

*Actually it is a LAW <u>NOT</u> a recommendation in NJ that you MUST be 16 or older to operate an ATV over 90ccs...
*It is also a LAW in NJ that the MINIMUM age is 14 to operate ANY ATV.
*IT IS a law that dealers & individuals can <u>NOT</u> sell a powerful ATV (over 90ccs) to people(s) under the age of 16.

cant you just have your parents buy the quad for you? or is it a problem because you want to ride at public places. how much land do you have? im guessing not too much cuz you live in NJ.
