One more question guys... Since you unplug the white plastic connector and plug the black and (black and yellow) wires into each other, can you just get rid of the wire assembly that has the white plastic end. As long as you are just taping up the ends anyway, why not get rid of the end that goes to the perch. When you are all finished, all you should have is the clutch cable going into the new perch, correct? No other cables??

if you are removing the e-brake, just get a new perch and lever

you cut the cable going to the perch and you don't connect the two brake wires!!!!! i dont know how to explain it

 

what do you mean you don't connect the wires. I found a bunch of other posts that say you do or else you can't start it in gear or something. I am just learning, so don't rag on me too bad.
