Default Look what I found

13/40 is stock. 14/40 is great for fast riding, but sucks while trail riding. I was able to use the 14T when I didnt have the cam/piston mods but after the install, it would bog down if it wasnt revved up a bit. I like using the 14/40 on open trails where you can really get some speed, I can shift into 5th and its still got lots of revs and once you open the throttle, you can just feel it pull hard. Maybe you wont be able to pull the tall gearing as easy since you dont have engine mods.

14/40...if I can get the rear 36T before the race I'll run 13/36. I need a new chain too, so I might just put on the 14 I already have...I dont want to mess up the new rear sproket with that old chain.
