Try spraying wd40 in both ends of the cable, and if that doen't work try buying a new cable. If that still doesn't work try a universal ez pull clutch lever made from a honda cr lever, the better ones are with a sealed bearing.

The wd40 trick worked well on my warrior's cable when I sunk it sideways in 3ft of muddy water. It's cheap and comes in a big can so you can use a large qty to flush any debris out. New cables are usually $10 to $13, so it won't be much of a loss.

Well the free play was adjust properly and after changing the clutch cable the Clutch itself went out shortly thereafter and so I replaced it with the that GYR-T Racing Clutch and everything seems to be working correctly thanks for all the input
