With the pipe and colder temp's in winter, did you re-jet richer for the winter? I learned that lesson the hard way last winter. Got to go up 1-2 sizes in the cold. Especially with more noise in the top end, running 32:1, I agree with F-B-Boy, you toasted a piston. Top End Time!!!!!!!!!!! Do a compression test, it is easy enough, and some auto parts stores will loan it out for free, like Autozone

u can take the header off and get the piston so u can see the rings. if u can push the rings in, not up or down. just in then the rings are ok but if they dotn move then the rings are bad. u can also fell the top of the piston and if its cracked u might be able to fell it. what oil/gas mix where u runnin?

I mixed it 32:1.
wheres a good place to get a top end rebuild kit?
my dad said that i cant take off the top end with out new seals or i wont be able to stick it back together and ride it with the old ones on is that true?
how hard is it to do a rebuild? would i be able to do it myself without screwing it up?
My final question i cant find hollywood dirt productions website online what is it?

Any Yamaha shop or on-line store. Piston kit with pin and clips, top end gasket set, rings, torque wrench and manual. You'll also need the cylinder bored or honed. It's not tough, but having someone to help is nice. You need to take off some body parts and the tank to get to everything.
My opinion, Blasters, 2 strokes, are really touchy when it comes to jetting, temperatures, and just like this person did, hard running for a long time. Seems if any of those 3 get out of balance, you burn it up. The 4 strokes are way more forgiving it seems. I had a Toomey pipe on our old Blaster, jetted up to a 310 in the winter, and fried it any way after a long time of hard riding
