my 99 banshee is stuck in 6 th gear. it upshifted fine, clutch still engages fine, but wont downshift. i was driving it easy when it happened, letting it warm up, just cruising. i tried rocking it back and forth, didnt seem to help. it wont roll in gear so the gears arent stripped right? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

 

ah well there is another great design from yahama. i had the same thing happened to my banshee. You will need to remove the clutch case and replace the shift shaft. the return spring broke. It was $35 for the part. Good Luck it will eventually break
