Why do the Banshee threads seem to attract the the 4 stroke crowd????????

 

I just came on here to find out what was going on, I know the modded Banshee's are wicked I have seen them run. I know alot about 2 strokes I had one.....mine was quick.

 

I dont think the Banshee is overrated at all.

I think the biggest thing for the die hard 2-stroke guys that are Banshee lovers is that when the motor comes into the powerband, the rush it gives you from the acceleration, sound, and feel just cannot be matched with anything else.

I like my wife's 350R Honda and it screams, but the power delivery is totally different from my bike.

 

Not that a 250R and a banshee are the same thing I have to admit that I miss the sound and the pull of my 330r. The only thing I can say is that the ride is way better on the new stuf and I break down way less than before ect.. Overated noo way Just out dated.

 

The only bike I think that can really say that a banshee was overrated was the ol' ltz500r. QUADZILLA!!!!!!!! Now that was a frickin fast quad. Almost made me **** myself on my first(and only) ride. If anyone is not familiar with it try a 500cc single cylender two smoker. Too bad so many riders were killing themselves and they pulled it from production.

I'll believe my friend over someone i don't know anyday. RAJ i don't have a problem with you or Predators. I would choose to by many other quads before a Pred. I will say the Pred is the best Polaris built quad ever IMO. Maybe a bunch of us can get together and ride sometime. No hard feelings.

 

On these forums I would say they are not overrated.
They are a good solid machine with some upgrades are loads of fun.
In the real world they are very overrated. I couldnt count the times people
have told me stories about 130mph straight off the showroom floor, 150 mph
quarter mile speed with pipes, ect. ect. and get mad and tell me what an idiot i am
for not believing them. Of course its always thier buddys that will do this and he

yeah i totally agree there are those ppl who stretch the truth to much i was talking to this kid in skool about a banshee and hes lik a zilla would kill that they go lik 100-105 stock im lik on try a lil lower buddy hes lik a stock zilla could take a moddified banshee
