how was he lucky? i mean i can see it coulda been worse, but that really wasnt that lucky.

 

It was lucky because of the way the bike landed on him. An inch or two one way or the other and he gets nailed by the seat or the bars.

It looks to me like it landed on the indentation of the tank, between the bars and the seat. A little more breathing room there.......ouch!!!

I believe he broke his C6 vertebrea but didn't do any nerve damage. That was the best "bail" I have ever seen, right up to the point that the bike ate him for lunch.

Never seen a dirtbike follow someone like that, mine always laid down and slid.

Maybe now would be a good time to switch to quads.

And what with the hatred of two wheel riders towards quad riders.

I read in MX action that Travis Pastrana did a ride on a Z and the magazine asked him about it, he said dont print that I rode a 4 wheeler.
