Default Kodiak Brakes Locked up - what's the problem?

FYI - I used the searched and couldn't find an answer.

Last weekend I went out and got on my Dad's 93 or 94 Kodiak and when I put it in reverse, I found out that the brakes were locked up completely. It appears that both front and back brakes are locked up. I did notice that there doesn't appear to be any fluid in the brake fluid reservoir.

When I parked the four wheeler about 3 weeks ago, everything was working fine. This makes me think it is a fluid problem. Am I off track?

I checked linkage on the brakes and they appear to be fine. I did notice that the foot peg, prior to any adjustment will not move now. You can't press it down except a little bit.

Again - what do I need to do?

Thanks,

Patrick

May be rust. Better hurry and get it checked. I've got an '04 and had brake problem. Too much water and put away wet I guess.
