It would take more than a "slightly modded" prairie to beat a stock banshee unless there was something wrong with the banshee. Not calling you a liar, but it doesnt add up.

lol... All 6 of those guys sucked big time at drag racing or the jetting was WAY off on the banshee.
Just woundering was this drag on a dirt or gravel road? If so the banshee was just spinning and thats why he was beat. There is no way a slightly modded prairy would win because I had a friend with a stock one and I beat him with a piped blaster...

I have a completely stock Banshee and my friend has a Z400 (same as a KFX400) with pipe, jetting and a Dynatek CDI. We raced 6 times, a 400' nearly flat run on grass. I beat the Z 5 out of 6 times. The one time I lost was the 2nd time we raced. He beat me by 1/2 a front tire. After that 2nd race I learned that if I shifted the Banshee a little sooner it hooked up better and I won every race after that. He didn't have the Dynatec CDI until race 4, 5 and 6 (that was also a different day, we didn't take any pictures on that day).
Anyway the races were always pretty close so the Banshee doesn't win by much, but it does win. With some serious tuning the Z could probably edge the Banshee out (as long as the Banshee remains stock).
Oh, and I also raced the Z with my Brute Force 750 (it was stock except for a Dynatek CDI). The Brute was 2 for 2. It was a close race when the Brute was in 2WD, but in 4WD the Brute won by a large margin.
Check out my video link for some of those races...
