Raptor carburetor rejetting, and effects

No jet kit, just pulled the jets and had a few already and the pilots I got from the local Yamaha shop. You really don't need a kit since the needles already have clip positions and the mains and pilots are pretty common (if not slightly different in the length of the threads). As far as extra power, it was hard to tell since I also went to a 12 tooth front sprocket. It does pull hard in each gear. Remember I would have jetted down to a 137.5 to make the jetting correct with all the stock parts, so a jump from there to a 150 (on the one carb) is a pretty good increase for just removing those parts.

Cruces...thanks for the great info....After you removed the spark arrester, is the machine much louder? As loud as an aftermarket megaphone exhaust?

We have a 400ex with the FMF Power Core Squared muffler and the Raptor with the SA out is quieter than that. It would be much quieter than a meg.

I THINK!!! the mains are the Mikuni Small Round type but I'm not sure. I have a few coming in so I'll post later if those are the correct ones.
