Default porting and polishing

I rebuilt my motor in my warrior 2 months ago, and i put in a high comp prox piston , and i also bored it 0.020 over, but i still don't find it has enough hp or torque for me yet , i wanted to port and polish the head and maybe have the head plained but i think i'm just gona go with porting the head. I was wondering if anyone on this site has any experience with this ? I want to do it my self, and i don't want to mess it up, i know i have to take the head off , but i was wondering if i need to remove the valves and springs / cam i have the shop manuel for it so that's no problem. so if anyone has done this before please help me out.

I'm not selling the quad yet so please don't suggest that and i'm trying to learn i don't want to send it away thanks
