Yea, what would you have to do to make an ATV street legal. I know you would need the turn signals liscence plate and mirrors, but i'm sure there has got to be more to it than that. Is there anyway you can do this in PA, I know you can get dirt bike made street legal here so I dont see why a fourwheller would be any different. If so that would be awsome to be able to zip around in. Also do you need your motorcycle liscence to do this, or an ATV training course?

Forget PA. Quads are illegal to ride on the road. Go to the PA-DCNR website, it lists the law. PA will never let quads on the road. And if they catch you they can confiscate the quad on the spot, say goodbye to your quad. I love quading but PA is about the most backward state, er, Commenwealth in this country.

yeah, I figured it would have been too good to be true if we were allowed to ride quads on the road in Pa.

 

In Wonderful Wyoming, I bought the insurance $260.00 a year, the tag $109.00, motorcycle endorsment on my DL ($18.00 and a real easy written test), put a blind spot mirror over one of the warning labels, and rode on baby. So for just a hair under $400.00 I am riding all over town, anywhere in the state, and can trailer it to other states and ride legally on the roads there. Here it is classified as a Wyoming motorcycle, so, other states have to honor the tag. It rocks. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

yeah, I would love to be able to ride around town in a quad!
