I was wondering, if I want to put yfz450 or raptor shocks on the front of my warrior, how do they fit, any cutting or grinding need to be done? What about on the rear, stock shocks suck, will either one fit? How much could I get a good used set of front or rears, somewhere like ebay? And do they make riding and small jumps that much smoother?

well... to make yfz shocks fit properly you will have to grind down the mount a tad bit... and fhat's for front only.. and ygfz shocks usually run in the 100-200 range 02 front raptor shocks work GREAT and u can usually pick a pair up for $60 or banshee shocks( know 2 ppl selling them for about $60) now for the rear... the only shock i know that will fit without any special modificatinos is an 01 Raptor Rear shock. I now am currently looking for one but still havn't found one yet for a reasonable price..

Speedy:
Which you think would be better for trail riding and some jumping on the front, the raptor, banshee, or yfz shocks?
I just got a brand new rear shock for it, had to go with stock, due to low funds, you think I could sell the new rear on e-bay and get enough to get a good used rear and the front shocks?

Plus, how much would I have to grind off the mount to make the yfz shocks fit?

I would say yfzshocks czu they get you lower to the ground.. which is GOOD for trail riding.. and if u take a pic of your shock i want to use it to sell mine.. and i beleive it's a lil under 1/4 inch u gotta grind to maek them fit...

I can take a pic of mine, but the d@mn thang is pink, so i put a shockwear on it, the guy at the shop said the reason it is pink is because for some screwed up reason that's what color yamaha made the stock shocks for the 95's. If you still want it let me know and I will try to get a picture by maybe Friday or Monday, and send it to you.
