Toe-in on Blaster

Toe-in on Blaster
I measured my toe in by strapping 2x4's to the tires and measuring between the boards. I had almost 2 full inches of toe-out before I corrected to .25" of toe-in.
Questions:
How could it get that far out without something being bent?
Is the manaufacture spec of .00" to .39" what you guys run.
After I set the toe-in to .25" the thing seems to steer easier, especially right hand turns.
Also: Is it just me or do left hand turns seem easier to make sharp than rights? Is the "turn left" gene hard coded into a mans chromozones?
Thanks for the input, you guys rock.
