What is this 692 kit? That would be .100 over and a 102.5mm piston, which I've never seen any company make. .080 over is pretty much the limit for the stock cylinder, anything over that requires a new sleeve and case work.

So is this a new sleeve or is the engine builder going to unrealistic tolerances on the cylinder walls and creating a time bomb?

And unless you install a higher compression piston and new camshaft you arent going to see more than a couple hp out of a big bore. Basically its useless.

You need to do some research, and tell us where you heard about this "692" raptor kit...

Get a Web Cam 696/697 Grind Cam, Get a Stock Bore 11:1 Weisco Piston, and Kibblewhite valve springs, you need all 3 to make good power reliably, you need a piston when doing a cam to get most performance, the above cam will increase power all over the board, and still run on premium. good for a handfull of horses.

why would you even bother boring it, you could take banshees on a stock bore with some other mods. alot of people dont know it but an extra 32 or somthing like that cc's dont make a huge difference. the power comes mainly from the parts used with the bored out engine.
What he said and also go with 86lt250RFatts Raptor suggestion.
