Default Which pipe?Raptor 350

I'm getting me a new exhaust system next week,i'm wondering which exhaust out of the yoshimura, fat boy 4,trinity racing,or dg stage 3.These are all full systems and i want to know what will give me the most performance and keep cleanest or still look good after a year or so.

Clover i think all the exhaust are about the same for the rappy so just get what you think you'll like, a full system really dosn't make any more power over the slip because of the headpipe being so big, but if thats what you want, go for it.

Well the only reason i was going with a full exhaust was just for looks mainly, but i cleaned my stock header and it looks good as new.I may save $100 and go with a slip on,probably yoshimura.Did u get good gains with the slip on?

Nothing to write home about, but yeah, yamaha did a good job with the stock exhaust so theres not alot of power to be made. Thats why i went with HMF, it was the cheapest for a slip on and makes as much power as any other pipe would. I havn't seen any dyno's that say this pipe makes more power, etc.

There's a big difference between the full exhaust and the slipon. I used to just run the yoshi slipon, but the power was limited to lows and mids. Once I threw on the header it completely changed my powerband to a really strong top end and midrange, while still having quite a kick in the low end. The difference between the aftermarket headers and stockers is how they bend, not the diameter. Most people think the aftermarket headers for the warrior are larger, but they really just bend differently by not having as sharp of a bend straight down from the motor. The stocker is really kinked downward while the aftermarket ones go more straight out allowing a better flow in the top end. Some evidence to this is my header hooked straight up to the yoshi slipon I already had.

Alright well i believe i have to go with slip on,because i called yoshimura and they said they only had a slip on for the rap 350.

You can always order another brand of headpipe in the future, it'll hook up to the slipon no prob. You should be very happy with the yosh, it's probably the best response pipe I've tried, and really packs a good punch to go with it.

yoshimura, duncan fatboy 4, and trinity are all great pipes, but I wouldn't go with the dg. DG doesn't give much of a hp increase. If you want a pipe because it sounds cooler than a stock pipe go with a slip-on, but if you want twice the power and a true 4 stroke sound, go with a full exhaust system.
