How common is it for piston rings in a warrior to blow smoke? Also, anyone ever seen the valve seals go bad? Thanks

 

I have a 93 and a 97 and neither blow smoke. All rings will have to be redone, especially if the original owner did a crap job of getting them to seat. But piston upgrades are pretty cheap and will give better performance.

The valve seals on my 87 warrior were shot. It would blow smoke untill warm up. If you use synthetic oil, sometimes they seals will swell and cause a tighter seal.
