Default Yamaha Banshee & Twin Filters

So I took out the air box along with the stock filter and I put in the twin K&N air filters that connect right onto the carbs... along with the pre-filters and that good stuff. It seems to me like it has lost some upper end power. Around 4th gear to be precise. Would anyone agree with me? or is this just my imagination and today was just a bad day?

Ok, seriously....YES you do have to re-jet. Did you rejet for your other mods? If so, try going 2-3 jet sizes up. Getting rid of the box helps out a lot but you have to jet acordingly

Yes, I did rejet for my other mods. I just5 didnt think that I would need to just for filters. Would it be easier to have a shop do it? Or what??? But yah, you were right, I am a noob.

Ask who ever jetted the carbs before, or just pull your carbs and check the MAINS, not sure if you have to change your pilots. Im not good with 2 strokes, youd be better off asking someone with a banshee or any two stroke
