is it stiprd out? If so try getting a size smaller 12 point socket and tap it on (make it fit) with a hammer. Sometimes going to a standard size smaller works better. This has worked for me.

You should be able to feel the socket fit on the plug correctly. If not, if the socket keeps slipping off of the nut on the plug, then there is something in the plug chamber. On mine, I had a piece of a screw sitting next to one of the sides of the nut and the sleeve is only big enough for the socket to fit, so it was slipping off of the nut. Pull the plug wire and turn off the gas. Flip the quad from the rear end up and whatever is in there will come out. You may have to tap it a little. If it's fitting on the nut good, then it's just really tight, so you'll have to either get bigger muscles, or use a cheater bar.

let me guess, you got the plug out, but its just floating around and you cant get it out of the head, to get it out then, use the ignition coil, press it onto the plug then pull er up.........
