Mud WaRrior
#1
I need some new rear tires for my warrior, it has a good set of carlisle strykers on it now but i hate them... gets stuck in the mud i have to go through in alot of the trails i ride.... always getting pulled out by my friends, would be alittle embarrassing but they dont laugh... they know they might be able to go places i cant but they know i can get places alot fast than their big slow kawasaki prairie 300s lol
im looking at the GBC Mud Shark tire/rim package rocky mountain atv has for sell, part number PD54105W
if u want to take a look.. i want a tire they will work in mud good enough to get me through it.. but thats not JUST for mud.. a friend tried to get me to stick a spare set of GBC Gators on my warrior.. but id like to stick with something around the 20-22 size range...... any suggestionss??
Thanks in advance for any help.

yeah i have a friend with a z400 he has holeshots on his, they look good but he dosent even try to go trail riding with us lol, he knows he'll get stuck every few minutes and his z has very little ground clearance, alot of roots an small stumps he will hit, i wanna try to avoid that with my warrior... i dont wanna stay off the trails lol

I suffer from the same problem. I seem to find a lot of mud here in Upstate NY and the GBC Shredders on my Warrior do not cut it. They are great on the hardpack but almost useless in mud or snow.
I too have been leaning towards the Mud Shark, they offer a 21-12-9 that will probably work real nice on a Warrior. I'm pretty sure that's the direction I'm going to go. It is a good idea to drop an inch or two off the size with a more agressive tread, you won't lose as much ground contact horsepower with a smaller circumference.
