Nope, homeowners won't cover it. I highly suggest getting insurance. Depending on the model, etc. it will cost between $200 & $300 per year. That will cover the bike, you and the rider. If someone steals it from your house you're SOL w/o insurance.

 

Just browsing through, who do you contact about getting ins for a quad? Do all major ins carriers insure ATV's? for that amount of money a year it seems worth protecting my 5k investment...

 

Yes most all insurace companys will cover a quad, just call around and ask about it. Call a few and get the best price. I think I paid about 150 for a year. Well worth it IMO.

 

I dont have insurance. Every year 200 dollars I could invest in aftermarket.

 

Im sure we all have been in your shoes once or twice before. But i HIGHLY recommend getting it insured Im 15 have my blaster insured. Also my father has a Kodiak 01 also insured. God forbid someone got hurt or even killed it would be ur ***. So just please get it insured for the benefit of everyone. ANd yes almost any major ins company will cover ATV insurence. Alos about the mod Question read my signature I have all those parts on and they still let me insure mine. Alos they dont ask for mods all they asked for was the year, cc's, and make and that was it. Hey Family rider, I believe you can still get insurance. Just tell them you baought the machine last week. If it is like car insurance you have Apx. 30 days to report a new purchase depending on the insurance company.
