So would you go stage one or two with a better exhuast, I rise around on ditches and hills for the most part, but am looking for a good boost on the top end. How hard is it to install the stage 2 compared to the stage 1, is this something i can do myself? I have built two engines for my mustangs from the ground up. Is hot cams the best option?

Holy crap stallion i thought you died and fell of the face of the earth!!!
redwings, the stage one is the only cam that allows you to use your stock valvetrain. ALL of the other cams require the kibblewhite setup in addition to the cam. In my opinion its easy. If you looking for a large gain in top end, the x-4 is the only cam you need buy then, it pulls like a freight train on top end, no joke. look at my pics page, and look how the stage 1 pulls on the dyno. stallion is running the stage two, and rapfams sister is running the x-4 and she kills us all with the x-4, which is why stallion in loking into the x-4. i just wish i would have went with a better cam then the stage one. IMO the x-4 is the best cam. I just dont see all of your reasoning behind all of this though, why are you even bothing with a cam, when you dont have a ported head, and the excellent pipe. If money is a option i understand. your taking the top end off, why not port the damn head why your at it.
