I just installed a Hot Cams stage 1 cam in my raptor, I like the way it woke the motor up.......as far as the install, if your mechanically inclined, you'll have no problems installing the stage 1 cam...Good luck, I hope this helps

Dont know what your plans are for the bike but for just trails and playing in the sand , the hot cam , stage 1 is a decent cam and can be installed very simply by just taking off the valve cover and doing the swap.
The stage 2 is more of a race style cam that produces better top end while sacrificing a bit of bottom end. With the stage 2, you also need to change the valve springs which will require you to remove the head unless you have the adapter to screw into the spark plug hole that attaches to a compressor to hold the valves up while you remove the springs.

Most the cams are good, their are about 10 different onces out their, and each one serves their one purpose. What kind of riding do you do mostly? Thats a major question for me on cam selection??? I personally dont think any cam is going to wake up your bike a whole lot with the big gun exhaust on their.? JMO though.

call big gun and ask them for yourself, like i said this is JMO, i pretty sure your not going to notice a very big gain by switching cam while using that pipe. Its just not a high performance pipe, it doesnt allow your bike to breathe as well as the other pipes, and your going to go and modify how much it breathes. That pipe doesnt breathe that well to start, and you want to add a cam to have it breathe more air!!?? MAKE SENSE? You put a big cam it that bike with a tall lift/duration i dont think youll like it. I know for a fact you wont, i would stick with the stage 1 cam, and would never go any bigger with that exhaust on their.
