can you combine a pipe and silencer from two different brands?

Default can you combine a pipe and silencer from two different brands?
I know the fit would be fine, but can you..take for instance..a HMF Silencer, and like another brand header, how would you jet? Just like a less-restrictive airflow? Thanks

I'd jet it the same as you would the HMF full system and see where it takes you. That should get you pretty close, you can just guess and check from there.
