I loved the looks of the raptors, but didn't like the handling characteristics of the 2 I rode before I got my DS. I am even more happy about my decision everytime I ride my friends raptors.

yeah lol the kfx700 looks huge.. never seen one in pesron but in pictures it looks like a crossdressing utility quad... but i didnt wanna judge it by looks lol, i do think ill go with the raptor... even if it isnt scary fast stock... iv seen what a rappy can become with some good modding

also raptors r alot easier to find an buy around here [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] never seen any bombardier avt in an atv shop around here... raptors an other yamaha quads r everywhere here

i AM bias for yamaha[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] lol and i do think that the DS is faster stock... and that video i saw here of the turbo DS was insane... but i like the rator more i think.. looks better to me lol

 

lol thats ok as long as you dont go telling everyone in the world how Yamaha > everything else like some people on here... I also think the raptor looks better, it also has a bigger aftermarket for sure.

 

if you want a good bike that needs a alot of pampering get rappy, the ds is a little heavier but seems to be more reliable imo

 

I have a Banshee and a Quadzilla and my brother has a DS, The DS handles and rides much better than our friends Raptors not too mention all the add ons available from HPR. If comfort is any question in the equation,the DS would be the only choice for your size!!

 

yeah i know yamaha isnt THE best in the world.. but im yamaha all the way[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] even tho the fastest dirtbike i was ever on was a honda 250.... but im done with dirtbikes for awhile.. got my @$$ kicked by them one to many times

 

I am in the same boat man, my warrior has done me well but I think it is time for an upgrade. I have looked at and ridden the raptor, it was a good bike but I wasnt all that impressed. I ride a lot of dunes and the thing just neve sat right for me. The Bomb is a killer bike right out of the box, travel, suspension and HP that will suite me for at least one season in the dunes. Aftermarket is good but not great if your looking for stuff you can just pick up at the local shop. If you ride one you will cry everytime you have to sit on your warrior again. Also for reliability the DS is second to none.
