2000 blaster i weant to unhook the TORS on it so i can get more RPMS + on my sled the TORS screwed up and ruined that stator. and i cant have that happen here

 

You won't gain any RPM's from disconnection it

 

that may be true but i will have a much less chance of screwing up the stator

 

How does the tors effect the stator? Your tors simpily taps into the coil and stops fire in case of a stuck throttle. I've never actually heard of people having problems with the tors, or especially the stator. People just remove it to allow for easy jetting, as well as to remove unnecessary junk from their bikes.

 

my 94 would not fire so i unplug the tors and she has spark now. they do go bad i know..

 

i dont know exactly what happened. Remember that it was on my sled, not my wheeler. But something happened and two of the guys at D&D powersports (a very trustable and reliable shop that we know well) said the stator screw up and the TORS was the cause. i talked to the wheeler guy there and he said it can happen to my wheeler.

Ive seen a kit that you can buy. Im not for sure who makes them.
