I dont own a Raptor, but, the guys that I ride with normally run 22's and drop down 1 tooth on the front sprocket! It seems to help them out!

I run 22" bear claws on my raptor. You do need to drop a tooth in the front. It does help the clearance a little bit.

Hey guys, quick question about this. Why do you need to drop down a tooth on the front sprocket when you put on 22" tires? Won't the larger tires give you a little more on the top end as well?

Thats correct, they will give you more top-end. But, you will suffer down low without gearing down!!

22" tall tires are horrible on the Raptor....been there and done that. They make the Raptor look goofy and the big tires rob power, it's not worth it.

Don't agree....my Raptor looks fine with them. Where I ride, I need the ground clearance, which is a lot better with the 22's. Power is not a problem. Going down one tooth is a good idea. Do it, you won't be disappointed.

I had duro excavators 22" and they were disgusting. When you sat on the quad, if felt like it was pointing forwards and down. They really robbed the power, i even had a 12 tooth front at the time. However, amazing if you dont care about going fast and get used to the agle the quad sits at because of all the ground clearence. I think with the tires i ahd though, they werent flat at all, they were like stock blaster tires shape, BALLONS. My raptor still managed to beat a 450r on pavement with them on though, he had me about 2 ft all the way til i hit 3rd, then i was gone and pulling. I wouldnt recomend 22's for sport, unless you get larger front tires, gear it down, and dont plan on racing on tight technical stuff. For just slow rec riding, nice nice nice, you wont hit many rocks underneath.

BTW, i definetely do NOT recoomend duro excavators. Hook up like crap, and are ballons.
