I'm on the opposite side of the country,Yakima wash,39.When I took my carbs apart for the first time my stock settings were 142.5 main/ pilot 25 about 2.5 turns out air screw/ needle 3rd position.Whats your elevation?Your dealer may have changed the jets on the initial setup at the shop. Are you going to be riding in water? If you do then you may want to keep the lid on,so you don't get water into your air box.The ehs kit is pretty nice, but I think you could make your own cheaper.Does your dealer sell sled prefilter material? If you look at the ehs lid you have all that you need to make it.Cut a piece of aluminum/4 1/4 inch bolts/prefilter material/some silcone. But thats just if you like to tinker? You could make one just as nice.Have you tried the bike out yet at all?

Im on the eastern seaboard, basically sealevel, NJ to be exact. I would rip the lid off, bump up the jetting 2-3 sizes on the main, and have fun. The pro design intake with no lid is what made the biggest HP jump for me.
