how do you get studs out?

Default how do you get studs out?

I am trying to get the studs out of my hubs... i figured it would be easy just to knock them out, but it aint working and i dont wanna bend stuff. i let them soak in wd40, but still no luck. is there a trick?

...... try using 2 bolts or lug nuts why do u need to do this

beacuse i made the mistake of buying bolts from the hardware store, and i tightende them too tight and they stripped me studs. what do you mean use two bolts or 2 lugs

Default how do you get studs out?

I'm not sure what the stock hubs are made of, but I'd consider taking them out with a torch.

if u can get 2 lug nuts on to the studs crank them down tooo gether and then start to un screw the in side one.... hope i could explain this better

Default how do you get studs out?

if i remember right a banshee stud just presses into the hub correct? If so thread a nut on the stud and hit the nut with a hammer (this way you dont damage the thread). If i am wrong and its a threaded stud just do like the other guy said and jam nut it. To jam nut something you want to thread one nut on first, then follow it with another nut, tighten the two nuts together and then thread the outter most nut in

They just press in. I have an extra set of Rear Hubs if anyone needs them (stock).
