Default Grizzly winch mounting

Just got my new winch from ebay. It's an off brand. Going to go to work and fabricate something to make it mount level since the mounting tabs on the grizz are at about a 45 degree angle. Is there a cheap bracket that I can buy instead maybe from a dealer? I can make my own but i'm sure it wouldn't look as good as something I could buy. Thanks

Default Grizzly winch mounting

I made a bracket and mounted it high on the bumper. This way I don't have to reach down in to the mud to use it. I also made it with a pin that can be disconnected, and put it on the back bumper to pull it out backwards if I want to. It is also on a swivell, that way I can have it pull in just about any direction. I put two female plug ends, one at the front and one at the back, with the male coming from the winch. I don't put anything on my bike that dosen't look store bought. I also made my own back bumper. I don't know if you can buy a bracket, but you can save yourself alot of money by doing it yourself. Happy trails!

Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and fabbed one at work. I should have at least put it on a pin like you did but I didn't think of it. Maybe I'll do what you did sometime in the future. For now I just gusseted two plates at a 45 degree angle to mount my winch level to the mounting tabs. Thanks again.
