it will be faster and rev higher, but if your more into trail riding and not dragracing you will like the stage one better, and you wont need to get new springs.

I'm more into dragracing and hill climbing, does it make a big enough difference that it's worth the $120 for the cam and X amount for the springs? What all will I need, your talking valve springs right?.

I have the stage 2 and I love it...It loves high r.p.m. and I race the hills all the time and it dunes well also...the Megacycle X-4 would have been my next choice to compete with the faster bikes on the hill but then I would sacrifice alot of my duneability. The stage 1 is great for trails and woods but just doesn't cut it in the drags and hill races.Be sure to add the kibblewhite hd springs if you go stage 2.

yeah it's worth the money, and I would suggest getting a valve job while your at it at the least. And port and polish if you got the money. All the mods in the world dont mean squat if you dont match everything to work together.

Not braggin and no slam to the 450's they are an awsome quad...Yamaha I mean..No competition. I beat the 470's as well. It's alot closer though when I run the 470's..usually only by 1 or 2 lengths. They get me off the line but by the time I hit third I pass them. I start in 2nd gear. My problem is I weigh 220 lbs.If I were like 150 or 170, it would be alot more fun for me.
