I say keep the Warrior, and let her ride a 250ex for a year or so. You can buya used one for roughly the same $$ as a used blaster, but they are much more user friendly than a blaster. Plus, less maintenance work for dad[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

My wife handles the wolverine fine and she only weighs about 100 lbs. I think your daughter will grow into the warrior before long.

I thank you for your input, but what I am really interested in is if the Blaster will be to powerful for her because it is a two stroke. I want to make sure it will be a safe machine. From what you guys are saying, the Warrior is much more powerful, is this correct?

yes.. the warrior has quite a bit more power than a blaster..

 

well i have owned both a blaster and a warrrior and both were stock and i tell you i could wheeelie that blaster w/ out trying for a mile ! maby its just the way i ride , the warrior was alot heavyer and hard to wheelie for me. The blaster had alota get up and go..... more than the warrior did, i mean on mine you would just have ot let the cluch barly dump and you ended up on your @ss ! But Ied say for now get her a little more use to the warrior and keep looking at the blaster then have her test drive one and if she is comfertable on it then get one ! Hope this helps !TBGUY250

 

also speed wise stock for stock the warrior and blaster are very close ! in the range of 55-65

 

I just bought my 12 y/o daughter a 2003 blaster, and she loves it and handles it fine. I put on an fmf pipe/silencer, took the lid off, and jetted up to 300 main w/ needle at second to the bottom position. She straight embarassed my neighbor on his 400ex. I had to bring out my 310r to set her straight [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]. But she rode an 81 honda atc200 for a year, then stepped up to an 83 atc250r for a year, so she's familiar with that 2 stroke powerband.

Well My friend he is 11 he has a blaster and if she revvs the clutch it will be VERY VERY wheelie happy but its all in the fun of it u gotta learn too control those things I am 13 and I ride banshee's raptors I LOVE warriors they are perfect in my view and Those blasters hall *** if you push it (they have no mid range in the gas its either Slow putt put t or ***** to the walls They go 59MPH if you know how too ride I personally dont see a need too top sumthing out but my friend did lol. I HIGHLY suggest it if she has over 1-2YR experience Just ride with her for a while and see how she handles it(Thats what my father did for me when I got a banshee)
